Belarus's Central Election Commission says 362 candidates have been registered to compete in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The vote for the 110 parliament seats is scheduled for September 23.
The election commission said 124 applications were rejected and seven would-be-candidates have pulled out of the race.
Among those denied registration was leading opposition politician Alyaksandr Milinkevich.
Electoral officials ruled that too many of the signatures he gathered from supporters were invalid and that he did not provide correct information about his income and property.
Milinkevich has called the ruling political and said he will appeal.
