A Chinese national was shot dead and two others were wounded on September 28 when unidentified attackers opened fire inside a dental clinic in the port city of Karachi, police told RFE/RL.
Police official Asad Raza said the attacker entered the clinic pretending to be a patient.
Police told RFE/RL's Radio Mashaal that all three victims had been living in Pakistan for the last 30 years and had also obtained Pakistani citizenship.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack but Baloch separatists had earlier said they had been behind such attacks.
A number of separatist armed groups are active in Balochistan, which is Pakistan's largest and poorest province despite being rich in natural resources.
Much of the violence carried out by the Baloch separatists is seen as a reaction by Baloch militants to China's investment plans in the region that envisage linking its Xinjiang Province with the Arabian Sea through a network of roads and railways.
