At least 19 people, including 17 schoolchildren, have been killed in a road accident in Pakistan’s southern province of Sindh.
Police said the accident occurred near the town of Nawabshah on January 15, when a school bus smashed head-on into a loaded dump truck.
At least 15 injured were brought to the hospital.
The children, who were students in the nearby town of Daulatpur, had come to Nawabshah for a school trip.
Police said reckless driving might have caused the accident.
Poor roads, badly maintained vehicles, and reckless driving often cause multiple-casualty accidents in Pakistan.
