In Pakistan, officials say the death toll has risen to at least 18 from the collapse of a three-story building in the eastern city of Lahore.

Rescue workers on February 7 pulled a 60-year-old woman alive from the debris of the collapsed factory, but officials say another 30 or so people are feared still trapped underneath the rubble.

Emergency officials say a gas explosion on February 6 caused the building to collapse, trapping dozens of laborers, mostly boys aged 14-23, inside.

Pakistani officials have ordered an inquiry into the incident at the factory, which was involved in the production of medications.
