Probe Launched After 46 Russian Toddlers Get Food Poisoning

Officials in the city of Togliatti, in Russia’s central Samara Oblast, have launched an investigation when at least 46 toddlers fell sick after consuming milk formula produced by a local baby nutrition center.

Officials said 37 of the toddlers were being treated at hospitals.

The toddlers’ parents started seeking medical help last week, saying their children had stomach problems.

Officials said the nutrition center’s operations have been suspended and a probe is under way.
