Bolshoi Ballet Director Leaves Hospital After Acid Attack

The artistic director of Russia’s Bolshoi Ballet, Sergei Filin, has been released from a Moscow hospital following treatment after an assailant threw acid on his face on January 17. Filin has undergone a series of operations to save his eyesight in both damaged eyes. Leaving the hospital, he said that he was feeling well, and that work was continuing at the theater. (Reuters)
