Some 700 assets in the Russian-occupied Ukrainian region of Crimea have been nationalized by the Moscow-installed authorities. Russian media reported on February 19 that Kremlin-installed Crimean official Vladimir Konstantinov said the seized assets included companies, buildings, warehouses, and "many other objects" belonging to pro-Kyiv Ukrainian businesspeople and political figures. Earlier, Sergei Aksyonov, the Russian-installed head of Crimea, said all the proceeds from seized assets would be spent on Russia's unprovoked war against Ukraine.
