MOSCOW -- The Moscow City Court has adjourned the trial of two Russian opposition activists, Sergei Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozzhayev, until February 25.
The judge made the decision on February 19 after the defendants' lawyers asked for more time to familiarize themselves with the case materials.
Udaltsov, the coordinator of the Left Front movement, and Razvozzhayev pleaded not guilty at the start of their trial on February 18.
They are accused of organizing mass riots in Russian regions and an antigovernment rally on Moscow's Bolotnaya Square in May 2012 that turned violent and left scores of protesters and police injured.
Razvozzhayev is also accused of illegally crossing the border.
Investigators say the protest was orchestrated by a Georgian politician, Givi Targamadze, who is outside Russia.
