Kazakh Activists Protest Russian Rocket Launches

Kazakh civil society activists delivered a petition to the Russian consulate in Almaty on July 2 to protest against Russian space launches in Kazakhstan. The protest followed the crash of an unmanned Russian rocket carrying three satellites near the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the main launch site for Russian space missions.
