Soccer lovers in the Russian republic of Tatarstan organized a nonstop 33-hour football tournament ahead of FIFA's announcement of the hosts for the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. The (admittedly sparse) crowd went crazy at the stadium in Kazan as soccer's world governing body declared Russia the host of the 2018 event.
