Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov has reshuffled the country's government and its banking sector.
Berdymukhammedov has replaced a number of ministers and bankers at the cabinet session on January 10.
Turkmenistan’s state media carried presidential decrees over the weekend.
According to the decrees, the energy minister and his deputy, the chairman of the taxation services, the chief of Turkmengaz natural gas state company, and the heads of the central bank and several leading state banks have been replaced.
