Pompeo Reaffirms Rejection Of Russia's Annexation Of Crimea

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reaffirmed during his testimony before a Senate committee on July 25 a formal U.S. policy rejecting Russia's annexation of Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula. Pompeo said there will be "no relief" for Moscow from sanctions imposed by the United States after the attempted annexation "until Russia returns control of the Crimean Peninsula to Ukraine."
