Ukraine has banned an American rock musician from entering the country for five years.
Ukraine’s security service said that the decision was made after Jared Hasselhoff, the bass player of the provocative U.S. rock group Bloodhound Gang, urinated on a Ukrainian flag on stage in Kyiv on July 30.
At a concert the next day in Odesa, Hasselhoff pushed the Russian flag down the front of his trousers and shouted to the audience: "Don't tell Putin," a reference to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia launched a criminal probe into flag desecration on August 5.
