Russians reacted cautiously to a proposed US-brokered cease-fire deal that Ukrainian officials accepted in talks in Saudi Arabia on March 11.

While the Kremlin said it was "carefully studying" the proposal, reaction on the streets of Moscow was mixed. Russian media was skeptical, saying a truce could allow Ukraine to strengthen its military.
