Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has established a new unit in Tehran to enforce religious dress codes amid a fresh crackdown (called the "Light Initiative") on women not wearing a hijab, or head scarf. Calling its members "Ambassadors of Kindness," the unit has issued cheery music videos showing girls happily receiving head scarves. But footage emerging on social media reveals a different picture of Iranian women without a hijab being bundled into vans.
