Baghdad, 13 April 2004 (RFE/RL) -- There are reports that a U.S. Apache military helicopter crashed near Al-Fallujah, west of Baghdad today.
The helicopter reportedly went down some 20 kilometers east of Al-Fallujah, where there are negotiations underway to end an insurgency against coalition forces.
Fighting was reported on the ground after the crash.
The U.S. military has not yet commented on the incident, and there was no word on casualties.
