U.S. Soldier Killed In Iraq Mortar Attack

7 June 2004 -- The U.S. military says one of its soldiers was killed and another wounded in a mortar attack on their camp near Baghdad yesterday.

It said the soldiers were from the 13th Corps Support Command. Since the invasion of Iraq last year, at least 604 U.S. soldiers have been killed in action in Iraq.
