17 July 2004 -- Greek police have arrested a Serbian man suspected of involvement with the murder of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic last year.
The Salonika police chief said that Dejan Milenkovic was arrested in a large-scale operation last night.
Milenkovic was reportedly unarmed, but had a suitcase full of cash.
Serbian authorities are expected to request his extradition.
Djindjic was shot dead in Belgrade by a sniper in March of 2003. Serbian officials believe some 200 people were involved in a criminal conspiracy behind the killing.
