15 September 2004 -- The trial of 13 people charged over the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic has been adjourned until November.
Judge Marko Kljajevic told the court today that the delay is partly due to uncertainty related to Greek authorities' decision on the extradition of Dejan Milenkovic, a suspect arrested in July in northern Greece.
Last month, a Greek court ruled in favor of extraditing Milenkovic, one of seven suspects who is being tried in absentia for Djindjic's assassination, which happened in March last year.
Milenkovic's legal team has appealed to the Greek Supreme Court and is waiting for a final decision.
