OSCE Ministers Wrap Up Meeting In Bulgaria

7 December 2004 -- Foreign ministers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) wrapped up a meeting in Bulgaria today with a closing statement reflecting disagreement rather than consensus over several issues.
The 55 member states closed their two-day meeting in Sofia without signing a final declaration. While the OSCE did adopt some 20 documents, including a declaration on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, it did not adopt a declaration on the political situation in Ukraine.

OSCE Chairman and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Pasi appealed to all parties of Ukraine's political arena to implement a 3 December Ukrainian Supreme Court decision to annul the result of the disputed presidential election and to hold a fresh vote on 26 December.
