16 December 2004 -- A police official says a roadside bomb killed four Afghan policemen and wounded two today in the southern province of Khost.
Khost is one of the main centers of activity of Taliban guerrillas fighting a three-year-old insurgency against government and U.S.-led forces.
Colonel Mohammad Zaman Khan, deputy police chief of Khost Province, said the bomb blast in Ismail Khail Mandozai District killed four policemen.
