20 April 2005 -- Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan travels to Kabul today on a two-day trip to Afghanistan.
While there, Erdogan will meet with President Hamid Karzai and other top Afghan officials.
Erdogan will also visit Turkish troops stationed there.
Turkey currently commands the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force, a contingent of about 8,500 troops deployed in Afghanistan.
