21 June 2005 (RFE/RL) -- Afghan presidential spokesman Jawid Ludin today said that Arabs and Pakistanis have been involved in recent attacks in Afghanistan.
Speaking in Kabul, Ludin said that the Afghan government is concerned about an increase in attacks by insurgents in recent months.
He said the government is also concerned over recent suicide bombings in the country, saying that such attacks are a new and emerging trend.
Ludin accused "foreign elements" -- including Arabs and Pakistanis -- of involvement in such attacks in Afghanistan.
