14 July 2005 (RFE/RL) -- Iraqi police say security forces have discovered the bodies of 10 men handcuffed, blindfolded, and shot in the head.
Police Lieutenant Osama Adnan said today that they found the bodies of the men -- aged between 25 and 35 -- late on 13 July on the eastern outskirts of Baghdad.
The bodies had no identity papers.
Members of the country's Sunni Muslim minority accuse Iraqi security forces of mistreating or killing Sunni Arab men. It is not immediately clear, however, whether the dead men were Sunnis or Shi'ites.
