25 July 2005 (RFE/RL) -- There were two suicide car bombings in Baghdad this morning.
At least five people were killed and 10 wounded in the first attack near the centrally located Sadir Hotel.
The large explosion was followed by bursts of gunfire.
In a second attack, a suicide bomber targeted a former Saddam Hussein palace being used by the Interior Ministry police command, killing at least two people and wounding four.
The latest attacks come a day after a suicide bomber drove a truck into a police station in eastern Baghdad, killing at least 22 people.
