10 August 2005 (RFE/RL) -- A suicide car bomb targeting a joint U.S.-Iraqi security patrol in Baghdad has killed at least six people and wounded at least seven more.
The explosion occurred in the western neighborhood of Ghazaliyah, and the dead include several Iraqi policemen. It is unclear whether there were U.S. casualties.
Earlier, the U.S. military said four U.S. soldiers were killed and six wounded when insurgents attacked their patrol north of Baghdad
late on 9 August.
