Attack On Chechen Police Wounds Nine

13 September 2005 (RFE/RL) -- Russian news agencies say unidentified attackers today opened fire with a grenade launcher on Chechnya's police headquarters, wounding at least nine people.
ITAR-TASS reported that the attackers shot about 20 grenades at the regional Interior Ministry building in Grozny. The building suffered minor damage

No further details were immediately available.
