10 Killed In Baghdad Suicide Attack

26 September 2005 (RFE/RL) -- A suicide car-bomb attack in the Iraqi capital Baghdad has left at least 10 people dead, including seven police officers.
The blast occurred this morning at a police checkpoint guarding several government buildings, including the Oil and Irrigation ministries and the national police academy.

Police Captain Nabil Abdel Qadir said 10 police officers and eight government employees were wounded in the blast.
