Iraqi Defense Minister Meets Jordanian Premier

13 November 2005 -- Iraqi Defense Minister Saadoun Duleimi met with Jordanian Prime Minister Adnan Badran in Amman today.

The talks follow last week's bombings in the Jordanian capital that killed 57 people, mostly Jordanians. Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Duleimi criticized Syria for allegedly permitting militants train on its soil for attacks in Iraq. Syria has denied the allegation.

Iraq and Jordan last month signed a bilateral security agreement.
