5 December 2005 -- Reports from Russia say rescuers have stopped searching the scene of yesterday's accident in which a swimming-pool roof collapsed in the Urals town of Chusovoi.
Emergency workers earlier today pulled out four more bodies from the rubble.
Authorities in Perm Krai now say 14 people were killed when the pool's 100-square-meter roof collapsed.
Ten of the victims have been identified as being children aged between nine and 12. The remaining four are women. Another 11 people were injured.
The reasons for the collapse remain unknown. An abrupt change in the weather that brought heavy snowfalls is thought to be a possible cause. The regional prosecutor's office has opened a criminal investigation.
