9 December 2005 -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said on 9 December that it intends to extend $90 million in loans to Kyrgyzstan.
Ashraf Malik, ADB’s country director in Kyrgyzstan, said the loans would cover the next three years. The ADB says the funds are aimed at reducing poverty and promoting the private sector in the country.
