Seven U.S. Soldiers Killed In Iraq

(AFP) 23 February 2006 -- The U.S. military announced today that seven American soldiers were killed yesterday in two separate bombings north of Baghdad.

Four soldiers were killed while on patrol near Hawijah. The other three were killed when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb near Balad.
