Afghan Troops Kill Six Suspected Taliban

U.S. troops on patrol in the city of Jalalabad (file photo) (epa) March 23, 2006 -- International coalition forces announced today that Afghan troops backed by members of the international force killed six suspected Taliban in a March 21 operation in the central province of Oruzgan.

A statement issued says bomb-making materials were found during the operation.
