U.S. Troops Kill 12 Militants In Iraq

U.S. soldiers on the scene of a suicide bomb attack (file photo) (epa) April 26, 2006 -- The U.S. military released a statement today that said it killed 12 suspected Iraqi militants during a raid and air strike on a house in the town of Al-Yusifiyah, south of Baghdad.

The statement said a woman was also killed in the raid, which took place on April 25.
