May 19, 2006 -- An Afghan general said today that there is a "good chance" U.S.-led coalition forces have captured a senior Taliban figure in southern Afghanistan.
General Rahmatullah Raufi says a man fitting the description of one-legged Taliban commander Mullah Dadullah was captured during recent clashes in Kandahar Province.
Neither the U.S. military nor the Afghan government has confirmed the general's remarks.
