WHO Marks 'World No Tobacco Day'

(epa) May 31, 2006 -- Today is World No Tobacco Day, a chance for the World Health Organization to focus international attention on tobacco, which it says kills five million people a year.
In a report issued to coincide with the day, the UN agency said tobacco was deadly "in any form or disguise."

It said smoking tobacco through water pipes and smokeless tobacco products -- which have gained in popularity in recent years -- were just as harmful as cigarettes.
