June 11, 2006 -- Interpol today delivered a suspected Georgian crime boss to Spain following his extradition from the United Arab Emirates.
Spanish police had been searching for Zahar Knyazevich Kalashov since arresting 28 suspected members of his gang last year. They were accused of money laundering and fraud.
The Spanish Interior Ministry has described Kalashov as one of the most dangerous bosses of Russian and Georgian crime organizations.
