June 30, 2006 -- Nikolai Patrushev, the head of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB), has offered $10 million for information leading to the capture of the killers of five employees of the Russian Embassy in Iraq.
President Vladimir Putin earlier this week ordered Russian special services to hunt down and "destroy" the killers of the five Russians. The deaths of four were confirmed on June 26; the fifth was killed during the kidnapping, on June 3.
An Al-Qaeda-linked group has claimed responsibility for the killing.
