El-Baradei Says World Growing Impatient With Iran

Muhammad el-Baradei (file photo) (epa) July 6, 2006 -- International Atomic Energy Agency Director-General Muhammad el-Baradei says the world is getting impatient with Iran.

El-Baradei, speaking in Ankara today, said the earlier Tehran responds to international proposals for ending the standoff over its nuclear program, the better.


The European Union's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, is due to hold talks with Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, today.
