July 17, 2006 -- A former Albanian deputy prime minister is among six people missing after a military helicopter crashed into the Adriatic Sea late on July 16.
Albanian Army officials say former Deputy Prime Minister Gramoz Pashko was being airlifted from Tirana to a hospital in Italy for treatment for serious injuries he received in a swimming accident when the accident occurred.
Albanian and Italian authorities are searching the coastal waters near Bari.
