September 10, 2006 -- Russian media report the prominent businessman Arkady Volsky has died.
Volsky founded Russia's largest business association, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which he headed for 15 years.
The union's current chief, Aleksandr Shokin, said Volsky had died of leukemia late on September 9. He was 74.
