Bomb Inside Iraqi Police Station Kills Six

(RFE/RL) Iraq, October 13, 2006 - A bomb planted inside a police station in the Iraqi city of Al-Hillah killed six people today.

Iraqi authorities say the head of a special counterinsurgency police unit, Colonel Salam al-Mam'uri, was among the dead.

Another 12 police officers were injured by the blast.
