October 19, 2006 -- Prosecutors in Kazakhstan's central Qaraghandy Region today said a fifth coal mine employee has been arrested over a gas explosion that claimed 41 lives last month.
The Kazakhstan Today news agency reports the man was taken into custody on October 14.
