Oil Expert Shot Dead In Moscow

(RFE/RL) November 14, 2006 -- An oil expert was shot dead in Moscow today in what authorities said was most likely a contract killing.

Zelimkhan Magomedov, a native of Daghestan, was killed by two shots to the head.


He was the director of a Moscow-based oil consulting company called the National Oil Institute Foundation.
