Pakistan Deports 400 Afghans

November 25, 2006 -- Pakistani authorities say they have deported more than 400 Afghans after arresting them for illegal entry in the southwestern province of Baluchistan.
The Associated Press quotes Mohammed Azhar, chief of Baluchistan police's investigation department, as saying the deportees were arrested in Baluchistan's capital of Quetta and other towns in recent weeks.

Azhar said all 406 Afghans were handed over to Afghan security officials at the border.
