Suicide Bomber Kills Nine North Of Baghdad

December 29, 2006 -- Iraqi police say a suicide bomber killed at least nine people north of Baghdad today.

Security officials say the attack occurred at a Shi'ite mosque in the town of Khalis, about 80 kilometers north of the capital.


Around a dozen people were wounded in the explosion, which went off just after Friday Prayers.
