January 9, 2007 -- An Iranian legislator says a man has been arrested on suspicion of leaking information about Iran's nuclear activities to the country's main opposition group, the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MEK).
Mohammad Tavakoli says the "spy" has worked in the Iranian parliament's research center since 2001.
He said the case has been completed for trial, which he said will start soon. The MEK is considered a terrorist group by the United States and the European Union.
MEK revealed the existence of sensitive Iranian nuclear sites in 2002.
