DUSHANBE, April 28, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is calling on Tajikistan to do more to ensure wider access to justice in the country, RFE/RL reported.
Louise Arbour, in Dushanbe for talks with officials including President Emomali Rahmon, said on April 27 that Tajikistan should allow local and international monitors to visit places of detention.
