May 28, 2007 -- Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic says that a further improvement in the country's relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina is a priority for the new Serbian government.
Jeremic, on a visit to Sarajevo, met with his counterpart, Sven Alkalaj.
The two ministers said cooperation should further intensify, and that both Serbia and Bosnia should do more to move toward Euro-Atlantic integration.
Jeremic again rejected independence for the province of Kosovo, saying it would be unacceptable to Serbia. He said Serbia believes a compromise should be reached on the issue.
