Warsaw, 16 June 1997 (RFE/RL) - NATO-led naval exercises started today in the Baltic Sea. Warships deployed from the port of Gdynia this morning, forming several groups to participate in shooting exercises, and search-and-rescue-mission training.
Our Warsaw correspondent reports the naval exercises involve more than 50 ships from 13 countries.
